The Aldershot History Society Originally formed in 1980 as Aldershot Aldershot Historical and Archaeological Society (AHAS), it was renamed in 2013 to the Aldershot History Society to make it more relevant to the interests of the membership. AHS holds monthly public meetings on the 4th Wednesday of the month during, to which anyone is welcome to attend. Friends of Muntz Park The Friends of Muntz Park, Selly Oak Birmingham. A group who are dedicated to the upkeep and welfare of Muntz Park, an area of about five acres in Selly Oak Birmingham, three acres were donated to the District Council in 1905 to be used as a park.
